Course description: Learn the fundamentals of sync-sound moving image production, including directing, cinematography, lighting, sound recording, production design, color grading, and production logistics. Produce scenes from existing scripts, rotating through the positions of director, director of photography, assistant camera person, gaffer, sound designer & production designer, and boom operator/script supervisor/editor. Gain experience in casting, location scouting, and set design. Develop a deeper understanding of crew dynamics, the art of storytelling, and the operation of digital cinema technologies essential to film and television/streaming drama.

During this class, we focused on two scripts: WEBS and ICE SHACK

Instead of the usual group of six, my group had a total of 5, meaning we had to double up on some positions. The DP and Director roles were combined. I was AC, Boom-Op, and Editor twice. I also did all the DP prep work for the Dinner Table shoot.
